The Reflection Project is a question based learning experiment and project conducted by Clarkston High School Students Makenzie Griffin, Juliana Stuertz, Alex Stevenson, and Chance Thuman.
Upon reading the Harper Lee classic novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Reflection Project was born. Self driven with no requirement but an end date, the group got together to create a project that faces the question that all teens face when they look into their own eyes everyday:
"Why has it become acceptable for us to degrade our own self image, but improve the images of others?"
Our goal is to change the negative outlooks on a teen's self image caused by todays critical society. We hope to extend our project outside of the classroom environment and reach it out to teens around the world. Struggling to accept your inner beauty can be a challenge for anyone, but The Reflection Project strives to bring peace amidst your flaws.
